As founder, CEO and Design Director of Chocolate Agency, Valerie Nomain is focused on inspiring the creative people of the operational team, maintaining the spirit of high-quality and integrity of the whole company and giving strategic advice to the key customers.

    With more than 15 years’ experience, Valerie has spent her career promoting the good balance between the product innovation, the marketing power and financial targets of creative oriented businesses. Valerie is French nationality but with her Asian origin, she can easily understand and manage both the western and eastern culture and market needs.

    In 2004, as the Product Director, she joined the new headquarter in Shanghai, then in Shenzhen. From this new position, she changed the full mobile phone strategy to build a new Alcatel image and create its unique position that is still maintained today. In two years, she built a new strategic office in China with marketing and design people creating and launching 50 products and won better market position and brand recognition.

    Since 2006, with her Chocolate team, she has provided constructive marketing consultancy and refined design services to more than 30 international and local brands, including ALCATEL, FLY, LANDROVER, MIDEA, GREE, etc.

    Felt in love with China culture and its business dynamism, she decided to combine her passion of design and marketing and share her expertise with Chinese and foreign companies willing to make a difference and bring qualitative services to help them to grow in high competitive environment.

    When not at work, she can be found cooking and sharing her passion for food with friends, or relaxing herself with yoga and tai-chi. She still dreaming of speaking a good Mandarin, maybe one day….
